He also visited Trisulam to worship Lord Trisula Nathar and Mother Tripura Sundari and proceeded through Pazhavanthangal, the place where the temple now exists. Years ago, His Holiness Sri Chandra Sekharendra Saraswathi – praised as Maha Periaval by the devotees was on a pilgrimage to Parangimalai for Lord Nandikeswara darshan.
